I joined the US Air Force in 2008, as a Medical Laboratory Technician. After 8 years - 4 assignments and 1 deployment - I medically retired and began exploring a different career. I knew I still wanted to help people the way healthcare enabled me to...
I quickly discovered an outlet in artistic expression. Initially through traditional art: landscape oil painting on canvas. I started a small business to sell the original paintings online. After I few years I decided to return to school. In 2022 I began working towards my Bachelor's Degree in design.
My focus is on digital accessibility. I have experience in a wide variety of design disciplines: digital branding, physical product design, video editing, animation, illustration, as well as research studies & statistics, heuristic evaluations and user experience.
I am happiest in a purpose-driven position. My ideal work environment has a mix of team work and regular collaboration. I excel in a flexible work schedule that can change day-to-day. I have a decade of experience managing small teams.
Currently, I'm in my final semester for my Bachelor's in Graphic Information Technology: UX/UI Design at Arizona State University.
